Alright, I did something sneaky. I posted a come one, come all to my website on the Modern Dog Facebook and threw up a cover of my book for good measure. There is justification, at least to me, in doing so, my ad made it into the current edition of Modern Dog. There it is, page 139 for one and all to see.
Rather than being a wallflower and hoping someone notices me and then takes the extra steps of going to the website, clicking on the uploaded version of the book, reading it, and then buying a copy, I did decided to stand out and blast an announcement to 43,979 people who liked the Facebook site. With six solid advertising pages in the back of the magazine, I wanted to stand out; much like Yalu did when she stood out from the other dogs in the kennel.
